Southern Passages Membership gives you priority access to our expedition programme, member-only passage berths, and early notification of new departures before they are advertised publicly.
It is designed for people who want to sail regularly — not just once. Whether you are building sea miles toward a qualification, looking for regular offshore time, or simply want to be part of a group that takes sailing seriously.

Priority expedition access
Members get first access to Fiordland, Marlborough, and Tonga berths before public release. Fiordland berths fill quickly — priority access matters.
Member-only passages
Dedicated passages for members only — coastal legs, Cook Strait crossings, and offshore routes not available to the general public.
Qualifying sea miles
All passages count toward your qualifying sea miles for Day Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore. Membership is the fastest way to build your logbook.
Course priority
When the training programme launches in 2026/27, members will have first access to Competent Crew, Day Skipper, and Yachtmaster Offshore places.
Community
